Freedom Tower’s Ominous HowlDecember 12, 2013, 0 Comments
The 2001 attack on the World Trade Center remains one of our nation’s greatest tragedies, claiming thousands of innocent lives. The Twin Towers were reduced to rubble, but the determination of New Yorkers proved enduring, building a bigger and better structure in its place.
Freedom Tower reaches nearly 1,800 ft , earning the distinction of tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. Nearing its final completion, Freedom Tower will open its doors in January, 2014. But in recent weeks, buzz has turned away from next month’s grand opening to something far more eerie.
Reports have surfaced of a persistent howling emanating from the building. So much so, that the newly constructed masterpiece has been dubbed, “The Wailing World Trade Center” by some locals. Freedom Tower’s bitonal song can be heard on particularly windy days, and seems to resemble the revving of a jet engine.
The tragedy in New York caused death to nearly 3,000 people in a highly condensed area. What are the implications of such an unprecedented passing into the spirit world? While not plainly visible, spiritual energy has its ways of showing itself. Perhaps Freedom Tower’s ominous howl is just the first sign of many to come, providing a stark reminder of the thousands of beautiful souls made on that cursed day.
